RE: T of DOL Contract K5210
I am writing to follow up on our prior correspondence concerning the termination of your current Driver and
Plate Search (DAPS) Data Sharing contract K52I0; this contract will be terminated for convenience in lieu of
DOL's migration to its new DRIVES system on September 4,2018. To service our law enforcement partners,
the current DAPS application will be available through the Labor Day weekend, however there will be a brief
intenuption in service while the DAPS functionality is converted from the legacy system to
DRIVES. Accordingly, your above-noted contract will expire on September 4,2078.
Under the DRIVES system, DAPS contracts will be electronic ooclick to agree" contracts.
We have already sent you a new application for access to new DIAS application. The form must be return by
August 77,2018. It is important that you fill out the form completely. The information on the application will
allow us to set up your new DAPS account in the DRIVES. In the EIN, TIN or UBI field you need to list
either your Employer Identifïcation Number, Tax Identification Number or Washington State Unified
Business Identifier or we won't be able to set you up in the new system.
If you have not submitted your application, or if you have any questions concerning the application, please
contact l)ataContracts(l)dol.w¿r.gov immediately. If the application is not completed and returned by August
17th, we will not be able to set up your new DAPS account in DRIVES so you can immediately access it when
the new system launches on September 4th. If that happens, it may take business several days for your account
to get set up after September 4th.
We are excited for the implementation of DRIVES; we just need you to help do your part so that we can
transfer your account without any disruptions in service.
Sincerely, rrì, ' >rlb ( I73'o'o 4)e
