The following amends the Purchase and Sales Agreement between the City of Kent and
Ben C. and Kazuko Kay Estes concerning: 20403 100th Avenue SE, Kent, Washington
98031.
IT IS AGREED BETWEEN THE SELLER AND BUYER AS FOLLOWS:
On April 13, 1998 the Sellers signed an Addendum/Amendment to the Purchase and Sales
Agreement agreeing to repair the septic system to the existing home to City of Kent
Standards. They have since been informed by King County Health Department, that the
Health Department will not approve repair of the drain field since sewers are available to
the site.
The purchase price of the property will be reduced by one half of the estimated cost of
hooking up the existing house to the Soos Creek Sewer District sewer system. Based on
an estimated sewer hookup cost of$16,000.00, the purchase price for the property shall
be reduced by $8,000.00 (one half the $16,000.00 estimate). Accordingly, Paragraph 3
of the Purchase and Sales Agreement shall be amended to Read: The total purchase
price for the Property is Three Hundred Fifty Thousand and No/100th ($350,000.00),
including earnest money, payable on closing.
ALL OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS of said Agreement and any other
Addendum/Amendments remain unchanged. y �/
