The City of Kent and Teamsters Local 117
The parties have met and discussed the cost of living (COLA) adjustment the
Teamster bargaining unit will receive effective January 1, 1999.
Effective January 1, 1999, base salaries for the job classifications set forth in
appendix "B" of the collective bargaining agreement will be increased by 90% of the
Seattle-Tacoma-Bremerton CPI-W, which is equivalent to 2.3%.
This memorandum of understanding fully incorporates the parties' understanding
with regards to the cost of living adjustment for 1999.
