ENT COUNCIL WORKSHOP
WASHINGTON
August 19, 2003
Councilmembers Present: Clark, Epperly, Orr, White, Woods,
Yingling
Woods called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m.
Approval of Minutes. Orr moved to approve the minutes of July 1,
2003. Epperly seconded and the motion carried.
Economic Development Strategic Plan. Nathan Torgelson gave a
powerpoint presentation on the draft Economic Development
Strategic Plan and responded to questions from Council members.
Homeless Emphasis, John Hodgson and Bruce Weissich explained
how the Parks and Police Departments have been working together on
police visibility and enforcement, and said they will work on
treatment in the future.
Pool Status. John Hodgson and Brian Brosheers, Operations Director
of Aquatic Management Group, outlined the revisions to programs
and capital improvements which have taken place, and noted that they
are doing well financially.
Adiournment. The meeting adjourned at 6:05 p.m.
