During the final design phase, the City has elected to include final design documents for the gateway elements located in the roundabout at 4"and Willis and the center median on the west leg of Willis entering the roundabout. The City has requested that KPG ("Consultant") enter into a supplemental agreement to design the roundabout and median gateway structures, gateway accent lighting and affected appurtenances (foundations, lettering, etc.) that will require revisions and additions to the current plans, specifications, quantities, estimates, and structural review for gateway foundations. During the design phase the City also requested supplemental services for additional ADA ramp design at the NW corner of W Saar St and 4tn Ave S (one corner)and the south corners of 4th Ave S and W Willis(two corners), additional plans for horizonal and vertical sidewalk layout, and landscape plans for existing tree protection/removal and soil preparation. TASK 6 FINAL DESIGN—SUPPLEMENT 1 Task Objective: Consultant shall provide final design for roundabout and median gateway site elements (including undulating metal sculpture features and gateway lettering etc), gateway accent up- lighting; structural review for gateway elements, wails, lettering and planter foundations;three additional ADA ramp designs,sidewalk horizontal and vertical layout plans and soil prep/tree plans for the roundabout at the intersection of 4`h Avenue S and Willis Street.
