RESOLUTION NO, ==52~
WHEREAS, the owners of the property abutting uppn the portion
of the street hereinafter described have petitioned the City Counci
of the City of Kent for the vacation of said uortion of said street
and,
1·!HEREAS, the portion of sa .. id street sought to be vaca.ted is
described as follows:
ThEt portion of that certain street lying northeasterly of
Lots 3,4, and .5 of Block "A 1 , Washington Central Improvement
Company's Knob Hill Addition to Kent as recorded in Volume f"
of Pla.~s, Page 9'l, Records of King County, Washington, described
as follows:
Beginning at the southeast corner of said Lot .5; thence
nor~;.herly and northwesl.erly, along the easterly boundaries of
said Lots 5, 4, and 3 to the northeaet corner of said lot 3;
thence easterly, along the north line of said Lot 3, projected
east, to the northeasterly line of said street; thence south-
easterly, along said northeasterly line to a.n intersection with
the nor'thwesterly line of a street running northeasterly;
thence southerly, parallel to the cen'ter line of Van De Va.nter
Avenue, to 'the northerly line of Tacoma Street; thence westerly,
along said northerlynne to the Point of Beginning, and
WHEREAS, it appears tna.t the petitioners are the only owners of
lands abutting said portion of said street sought to be ve.cated;
IT IS 'l'HEREFORE RESOLVED that Monday, the Jrd day of November,
1952, at the hour of 8:00 p.m. Pacific Standard time, is hereby
fixed as the time and the Council Chambers in the City Hall of the
City of Kent, is hereby fixed as the place for hearing upon said
petition a.nd all persons intierested are required then and there
to be present e.nd state their objection if any they have to the
granting of said petition.
