HomeMy WebLinkAbout3261 2 3 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 1-& 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 RESOLUTION No. 326 'dHEREAS, the City of Kent, a municipal corporation of the State of t·lashington, desires to transfer money from the Current Expense Fund to the T:Jar Liqucr Tax Fund, and the State Aid Fund. vJHEREAS, said money is to be transfered to wipe out, and off the books the two said funds, 1tihich is no more usable, ·~ and is a dead issue, the War Liquor Tax Fund has ;lp4000.00 invested in Series G. Bonds, State Aid fund has an invest- ment of :~2000.00 in Series G. Bonds, both investments re- ceive 2~% interest per year paid in February and August. Amounts needed to balance off the accounts are, '/Jar Liquor Tax $1,456.98 and State Aid Fund $1,742.60. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Kent in regular meeting assembled that the City Clerk and City Treasurer of the City of Kent be-authorized, empowered and instructed to transfer the amount of $1,456.98 to the War Liquor Tax Fund, and $1,742.60 to the State Aid Fund. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said City Clerk and City Treasurer of the City of Kent be authorized, empowered and in- structed to place all monies direct into the Current Expense Fund that was previously placed in the two above mentioned funds 1 that are hereby abolished by this resolution. Passed by the City Council this 7th. day of April, 1952 •
