For valuable consideration and by mutual consent of the parties, the project contract is modified as follows: 1. Section I of the Agreement, entitled 'Description of Work," is hereby modified to add additional work or revise existing work as follows: In addition to work required under the original Agreement and any prior Amendments, Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to: This change makes the following revision to the contract documents: Contract Drawing 2 of 36: Delete Construction Sequencing Note 2. Due to a delay in the delivery of the earthquake watermain pipe, the contractor proposed installing a temporary water connection to the Pacific Coast Fruit Company property. The temporary connection allowed the existing watermain to be abandoned, and stone column work to begin while maintaining water service to the property. 2. This Change Order, unless otherwise provided, does not relieve the Contractor from strict compliance with the guarantee and warranty provisions of the original contract, particularly those pertaining to substantial completion date. SBI requests a No Cost Change Order to revise the construction sequencing in the Contract. Sheet 2 Note 2 and 3 specify the water main sequence around the stone column and drilled shaft installation. SBI proposes a temporary water service connection near 17+00 prior to installation of the stone columns and drilled shafts.
