REQUESTFOR COAJSENT TO EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT ON TOWER
Dear Water System Manager,
King County entered into the Lease referenced above to construct, operate and maintain
a wireless communications facility located at 3300 South 264th Street, Kent, Washington
("Property"), known by the City of Kent as the Cambridge Tank Communications Site.
Please note that, unless otherwise provided in this letter, the capitalized terms used
herein have the meaning given to them in the Lease.
Pursuant to Section 27.1 of the Lease, King County entered into a sublease with the Port
of Seattle ("Port"), a previous tenant of ValleyComm's that was using the ValleyComm
Facilities at the Property as of the date the ValleyComm Lease was terminated. The Port
has notified King County that it intends to replace some of its antenna equipment located
on King County's tower ("Tower"). King County has reviewed the proposed work and is
willing to permit the Port to make such changes upon entering into an amendment to the
sublease.
However, prior to allowing the Port to make any changes to its antenna equipment located
on the Tower, King County must obtain the City of Kent's approval pursuant to Section
5.1(b) & (c) of the Lease, which consent may not be unreasonably withheld, delayed or
conditioned.
Attached is a diagram showing the Port's new antenna equipment on the Tower, and a
Technical Data Sheet that lists all of the Port's equipment and cabling on the Tower upon
completion of the replacement work. Key notes:o The Port is reducing the visual impact of, and structural load on, the Tower by
replacing the current 6-foot dish with a new 3-foot dish; ando The project is a full removal of existing equipment and installation of replacement
equipment.

lf the City of Kent consents to the Port's proposed changes to its antenna equipment on
King Gounty's Tower, please have an authorized representative of the City of Kent sign
and date this letter in the space provided below, and return one copy to me via courier or
certified mail by June 21"t.
This letter has been sent in duplicate so the City of Kent can retain the second originalfor
its records.
