The purpose of the amendment is to extend the contract end date from June 30, 2019 to June 30, 2021. In order to ensure that this amendment can be executed prior to the contract's June 30, 2019 lapse date, we are mailing you the amendment prior to the Governor's approval of the 2019-2021 budget. In the unlikely event the Governor does not sign the budget by June 30, 2019 or does not approve the section that pertains to your project, the law would not take effect and the Department reserves the right to terminate the contract. Please review the Amendment and if it meets with your approval, please sign and date where indicated(the Contract Face Sheet) and return both to me at your earliest convenience.
