ASSUMPTIONS This scope of services for Amendment No. 1 is based on the following assumptions: • City will provide information on technical and other preferences for the garage building within two working days of requests from Consultant. • Garage building will include the following features and components: o Standing seam pitched metal roof o CMU exterior o False windows (darker CMU blocks) o Insulation o Simple ventilation system consisting of fan/blower and louver o Lighting system o Convenience outlets o Thermostat controlled natural gas heater o Thermostat controlled exhaust fan with manual override o Single occupant restroom with toilet (standard with tank), sink, and point-of-use water heater. Restroom will also include small ventilation fan activated with light switch. Power will be added for the fan, water heater, and lighting. o A mop station and utility sink (assumed to be adjacent to restroom, with shared water heater). March 2019 Page 1 of 5 Jacobs Engineering Croup Inc. o Internal potable water plumbing to sinks and toilets, floor drains and a connection to the sanitary sewer system in 64« Avenue South. o Four roll-up garage doors, with openers and 14-foot minimum door height and 4- foot edge-to-edge spacing between garage doors o One personnel access door • Garage building will not include windows, skylights, or interior rooms/walls, other than a restroom. • The irrigation system will be designed as a long-term system, with a hard-wired controller. Irrigation system will include a new irrigation service and meter and will feature aboveground perforated piping. • A new water service providing potable water to the garage will be provided and will include a yard hydrant and a wall spigot on the exterior of garage. • A new fire hydrant will be provided within the right-of-way, adjacent to the garage building. • Drainage for the garage building will include an oil/water separator, and connection to the proposed on-site storm drainage system. The wall will likely be subject to loading from the adjacent generator shelter and will require a geotechnical evaluation. • Energy code compliance calculations will not be required for the building, since it will not be normally occupied. • City will lead and prepare the submittals of all City permit applications relating to the garage building. City permitting support from Consultant is not included in this scope of services. 3. DETAILED SCOPE OF SERVICES ADDED FOR AMENDMENT NO. 1 Below are the identified tasks for this amendment.
