King County Site: Cambridge- PSERN-12
NOTICE OF COMMENCEMENT DATE
Dear Water System Manager,
King County entered into the Lease referenced above to construct, operate and maintain
a wireless communications facility located at 3300 South 264th Street, Kent, Washington,
known by the City of Kent as the Cambridge Tank Communications Site. This letter is to
establish the Commencement Date for the term of the Lease and the Rent, and other
important dates referenced in the Lease. Please note that the capitalized terms used
herein have the meaning given to them in the Lease.
Pursuant to Section 2 of the Lease, the term of the Lease shall commence on the last
date on which all of the conditions of Section 2.2(a) have been met. King County hereby
notifies the City of Kent that all of the conditions set out in Section 2.2(a) of the Lease
were met on January 31, 2019. Therefore, the Commencement Date is January 31,
2019.
Other important dates of the Lease to note, and the Sections of the Lease they are
referenced, include:
Rent Commencement Date (Section 3.1): January 31, 2019
Annual Rent Payment Date (Section 3.1): January 1st
Lease Execution Date: March 15, 2018
Expiration of 25-year Term (Section 2.1(a)): January 31, 2044
Please return one copy of this letter to me via courier or certified mail, signed and dated
by an authorized representative of the City of Kent in the space provided below, within ten

(10) business days of receipt, acknowledging the Commencement Date for both the term
of the Lease and the Rent, and the other key dates referenced in this letter.
This letter has been sent in duplicate so the City of Kent can retain the second original for
its records and return one original to me at the address below.
