AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent,
Washington, amending the 2010 budget for
adjustments made between January 1, 2010, and
December 31, 2010.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 7. - Budget Adiustments. The 2010 City budget is
amended to include budget fund adjustments as summarized and set forth
in Exhibit "4," which is attached and incorporated into this ordinance.
SECTION 2. - Severabilitv. If any section, sentence, clause, or
phrase of this ordinance should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by
a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity or unconstitutionality
shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of any other section,
sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance.
SECTION 3. - Ratification. Any act consistent wÍth the authority
and prior to the effective date of this ordinance is hereby ratified and
affirmed.
SECTION 4. - Corrections by Citv Clerk or Code Reviser. Upon
approval of the City Attorney, the City Clerk and the code reviser are
authorized to make necessary corrections to this ordinance, includíng the
correction of clerical errors; references to other local, state or federal laws,

codes, rules, or regulations; or ordinance numbering and
section/su bsection numbering.
SECTION 5, - Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and
be in force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and
publication as provided by law.
