ORDINANCE # 191.
AN ORDINANCE making it a misdemeanor for any minor to
play at pool, billiards or cards in a public pool, billiard
or card room or to be found therein and making the haboring
of minors or permitting them to be in such room or saloon '
or to play at pool, billiards or cards upon tables kept for
public use, by the owner or keeper of such pool, billiard
or card rooms or saloon, a misdemeanor and providing a
panalty for its violation.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF =T DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1:
It shall be unlawful for the owner or keeper or
for any person having charge of any pool, billiard or card
room or rooms, saloon or saloons, for the sue of the public,
or the owner, keeper or person having charge of any pool,
billiard or card table or tables for the use of the public,
to allow or permit any minor to play at billiards, pool or
cards at or upon any such table or tables, or in or about
any such pool, billiard or card room or rooms, saloon or
saloons, so kept for the use of the public.
Section 2.-

It shall be unlawful for any minor to play at
pool, billiards or cards at any table or tables kept for
public use, or in or about any pool, billiard or card room
or rooms, saloon or saloons, kept for public use, or to be
or remain in or about or to loiter about any such pool,
billiard or card room or rooms, saloon or saloons, so kept for
public use.
Section 3:
Any person found guilty of violating any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall be fined in any sum not
exceeding One Hundred Dollars or imprisoned in the City Jail
not to exceed twenty days.
Section 4:
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force
from and after the 15th. day of March A.D. 1909.
Section 5:
All Ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
