Repeals Secs. 2.01.030 & 2.02.020 of Ord. 3283
ORDINANCE NO. 3545
AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City
of Kent, Washington, amending Chapters 2 01 and 2 02 of
the Kent City Code by repealing those sections relating to
term lunits for the Mayor and City Council Members
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
SECTION 1. Chapter 2 01 of the Kent City Code is hereby amended by
repealing Section 2 01030, entitled "Term limits for council members," in its entirety
SECTION 2. Chapter 2 02 of the Kent City Code is hereby amended by
repealing Section 2 02 020, entitled "Term limits for mayor," in its entirety
SECTION 3. — Severabdity If anyone or more section, subsections, or
sentences of this Ordinance are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision
shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of this ordinance and the same
shall remain in full force and effect

SECTION 4. — Effechve Date This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force thirty (30) days from and after its passage as provided by law
