ORDINANCE NO. 35`35 -
AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City
of Kent, Washington, amending section 3.41.020 of the
Kent City Code, entitled "Change Account," by increasing
the maximum account balance from $3,500 to $6,000.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON,
DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 3.41.020 of the Kent City Code, entitled "Change
Account," is hereby amended to read as follows:
Sec. 3.41.020. Change account.
A. Created. There is hereby established in the office of the finance director a
special account to be known as the change account.
B. Amount and authorization. The amount of the change account shall be twee
thousand five htmdr-e six thousand dollars ($5006,000). The finance director is
hereby authorized to establish and administer the account.
SECTION 2. — SeverabLhty. If any one or more section, subsections, or
sentences of this Ordinance are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decision
shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of this ordinance and the same
shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION 3. - Effective Date. This ordinance shall take effect and be
in force thirty (30) days from and after passage as provided b law.
