AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City
of Kent, Washington, adjusting the scheduled charges for
sewer service in the City.
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KEN -1
WASHINGTON, ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION]. Section 7.04.280 of the Kent City Code shall be amendec
as follows:
Sec. 7.04.280. Schedule of charges; for service within inside City limits.
The following are the sanitary sewer service charges for service inside the City
limits.
Type of Service
1. Single-family residential dwelling, as defined in
Ch. 15.02 KCC.
2. * Two-family or multiple -family residential
dwelling, as defined in Ch. 15.02 KCC each unit
separately charged.
3. Single-family residential/Lifeline: Eligibility
criteria for Lifeline Rate shall be established by
City Council.
4. All other than single-family residential, shall be
billed in accordance with the consumption of water
and at the following rate, except that no monthly
bill shall be less than $24.24 $25.33.

SECTION 2. Kent City Code Section 7.04.280, which is amended by
this ordinance, shall remain in full force and effect until the effective date of this
ordinance.
SECTION 3. Severability If any one or more sections, subsections,
sentences of this Ordinance are held to be unconstitutional or invalid, such decis
shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of this Ordinance and the sa
shall remain in full force and effect.
SECTION 4. Effective Date This ordinance shall take effect and be
force on July 1, 1999, which is at least thirty (30) days from and after its passage
approval, and publication, as provided by law.
