ORDINANCE NO. 3 qa 5 -
AN
AN ORDINANCE of the City Council of the City of
Kent, Washington, amending Sections 3.41.2 10 and 3.41.3 10
of the Kent City Code relating to the amount held in the City's
petty cash and change account.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DOES
THEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION]. Section 3.41.210 of the Kent City Code is hereby amended
I as follows:
Sec. 3.41.210. Amount and authorization. The amount of the change account
shall be five thousand three thousand five hundred dollars ($5,000.00) ($3,500.00). The
finance director is hereby authorized to establish and administer the account. issue -a-sliesl-
SECTION2. Section 3.41.310 of the Kent City Code is hereby amended
as follows:
Sec. 3.41.310. Amount. The amount of the petty cash account shall not exceed
three thousand three hundred dollars ($3,300.00). and Tthe
finance director is hereby authorized to establish and administer the account.

SECTION 3. The finance director is hereby authorized to make the
budget adjustments and/or transfers to establish the account as set forth in this
SECTION 4. Severabiljby, If any one or more sections, sub -sections, or

affect the validity of the remaining portion of this Ordinance and the same shall remain

SECTION S. Effective Date. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
Iforce thirty (30) days after passage and publication as provided by law.
