ORDINANCE NO. 19 I2-"
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, establishing the office hours for the
offices of the City government, and repealing
Ordinances 844, 983 and 1572 of the City of
Kent.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. OFFICE HOURS.
All offices and departments of the City of Kent shall
be open from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. of each day, except Saturdays,
Sundays and legal holidays; PROVIDED, that the offices of the
City Clerk, and Finance Department shall be open to the public
from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.; and PROVIDED FURTHER, that certain
departments of the City government may expand those hours and/or
be open Saturdays, at the discretion of the City Administrator,
at certain times of the year in order to better serve the public.
Section 2. REPEALER.
Ordinances 844, 983 and 1572 of the City of Kent are
hereby repealed.
Section 3. EFFECTIVE DATE.
This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five
(5) days from and after its passage, approval and publication,
as provided by law.
