An Ordinance of the City of Kent, approving and confirming the assessment roll of Local Improve-
ment District No ....... lal......... for the improvement of that portion of Railroad
Avenue between Titus Street and Willis Street,and that portion
of Willis Street connecting Railroad Avenue in the Washington
Central Improvement Companyts first addition to Kent,with that
portion of Railroad Avenue in the original plat of Kent
by placing along the west side of said Railroad Avenue and along
the north side of Willis Street a Wooden sidewalk
under Ordinance No ------ Z24........... and levying and assessing the amounts thereof against the several
lots, tracts and parcels of land and other property as shown on said roll, establishing a local improve-
ment fund in the city treasury,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the assessment roll of Local Improvement District No -------- 1251 --------- of the City of
Kent, for the improvement of that portion of Railroad Avenue between Titus
Street and Willis Street,and that portion of Willis Street con-
necting Railroad Avenue in the Washington Central Improvement
Companyts first addition to Kent,with that portion of Railroad
Avenue &n the original plat of Kent.
by placing along the west side of said Railroad Avenue and
along the north side of Willis Street a wooden sidewalk
under Ordinance No ------ 524........... as the same now stands, be and the same is hereby, in all things
approved and confirmed, and adopted as and for the assessment roll for the said local improvement dis-
trict.
Section 2. That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land and other property shown upon said
roll is hereby declared to be specially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged
against the same in said assessment roll, and that the assessment appearing against such lot, tract or
parcel of land or other property, therein, is in proportion to the several assessments appearing upon
said assessment roll. There is hereby levied and assessed upon and againt each such lot, tract or par-
cel of land and other property appearing upon such assessment roll the amount finally charged against
the same thereon.
Section 3. There is hereby created and established in the treasury of the said City a fund to be
known as Local Improvement Fund No ...... 1$_1 ----------- into which shall be converted all moneys collected
from the said assessment, and from which shall be paid all warrants drawn in payment of the costs and
expense of said improvement.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect five days after its passage, approval and publication
as by law provided.
