THE CITY COUNCILr�F THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the/A;ssment roll of Local Improvement District No ... 128------------- of the City of Kent, for the improvement of Railroad Avenue from Titus Street to Russell Street,and Wi lis Street from Railroad Avenue in the original plat. of Kent,to Railroad Avanue in the Washington Central Improvement Company's First Addition to Kent, By bringing thesame to grade,for the width of 32 feet along the center thereof,establishing a shoulder six inches high on each side iff and 12 feet distant from the longitudidal center line of the street and avenue improved,covering the 24 foot strip between the said shoulders with a coat of crushed rock six inches thick,crowned to the heighth of six inches at thecenter thereof, Under the provisions of Ordinance No.... Q. .......... ;as the same now stands be and the same is hereby approved and confirmed and adopted, as and for the assessment roll for the said local improvement dis- trict. Section 2. That each of the lots, tracts and parcels of land and other property shown upon said roll is hereby declared to be specially benefited by said improvement in at least the amount charged against it in said assessment roll, and the assessment appearing against the same therein, is in propor- tion to the several assessments appearing upon said assessment roll. There is hereby levied and as- sesed upon and againt each such lot, tract and parcel of land and other property appearing upon said assessment roll the amount finally charged against the same thereon. Section 3. The sums levied and hereby charged upon and against the several lots, tracts and par- cels of land and other property, or any portion of such sums may be paid within the thirty day period provided by Section 50 of Chapter 98 of the Laws of Washington for the year 1911, as therein provided, and thereafter the sum remaining unpaid thereon may be paid in --------- f-iae------------ equal annual install- ments, the first of which shall be due one year after the expiration of the said thirty day period. Section 4. There is hereby created and established in the Treasury of the city a fund to be known as "Local Improvement Fund No ----- 12-B-------------" into which shall be converted all moneys collected from such assessment, and from which sahll be paid all warrants drawn in payment of the cost and expense of said improvement, and all bonds issued against said local improvement district. Section 5. Upon the expiration of the thirty day period as set forth in Section 3 of this Ordinance, the City Treasurer shall make and file with the Citv Clerk a statement of all amounts paid on said as- sessment, showing the aggregate of the same remaining unpaid, and shall certify the correctness of the same.
