weighing_-,*ith-itualoazd to exceed six tons ;or any vehicle having rubber
tires or tires of souse oirailar material, weighing with its load to exceed
eight tons without protecting; such paving or sidewalk,by laying dorm
planks or other protection sufficient to insure safety to the surface
of the paving from Wearing by the extraordinary friction of such vehi•
ales, and(in c as d of loads exceeding eight tons in weight)to, di s,tribute
the weight over at least 60 square feet of tho said paving
