Section 1. That all bars,rods,wires,cables or other :Metal device
anchored in a::y public street,rj.11ey or other ,,ublic place in the
City of I ent, and used as stays, or guys for holding telegraph, tel-
ephone,electric light or other poles for supporting electric wires

current,shall be caged or boxed or covered with a good substantial
boxing; or easing of wood ,ir wetal to a perpendicular heighth of
