An or dinance of the City of Kent providing for the appoint-
ment of a city engineer, ayid fixing his salary.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS
Section 1. Immediately upon tha taking effect of this ordi-
nance,and thereafter annually on the first Tuesday in Jan-
uary,the mayor of the City of Kent shall appoint a, city engi-
neer who shall serve during the pleasure of the mayor and sha
receive a salary of seventy five dollars per month.
Section 2. The duties of the city engineer shall be such
as may be by the city council,prescribed from time to time.
