An ordinance providing for the appointment of &-pound mtLeter and
a policeman,and a manner of fixing their salaries.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C ITY OF 10h'.CN DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Mayor of the CITY shall annually on the first
Tuesday of January appoint a pound master and a policeman,whose
salaries shall be fixed by the City Council,frorm time to time,as
such council shall deem just and proper.
Section 2. A vacancy at any time in the offices of policeman
or pound master shall be filled by appointment by theLayor.
