AN. ORDINANCE authorizing improvement and repair and construction
of certain sidewalks and directing the preparation
of an assessment roll of the property benefited.
WHEREAS the sidewalks in front of certain lots hereinafter described
were in need of improvements and repair, and their continuance in such
condition was dangerous to the public; and notice thereof was given to
owners of said property to make said repairs pursuant to resolution of
the Town Council of 1903; but said owners failed to make
said repairs, and
WHEREAS. the Town Marshal, under the direction of the Town Clerk
did improve and repair the sidewalks in front of the following lots,
to -wit: -

M THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF KENT:
Section 1: -
The Town Clerk shall prepare an assessment roll con-
taming a list of the lots benefited by the above described im-
provements and repairs, together with the names of the owners, if
known, and the amount of the costs of such improvement and repairs
separately assessed in proportion to the property benefited; which
assessment roll shall be by him filed in his office and presented
to this Council for action and consideration.
