of the said town,setti,17 forth that the petitioner
of Blocks eight and nine of mcmi1Lins Adriit ion to Kent, in King;
Courrty,State of L" �'as}iir,^-ton,and that no other person or persons
are intersted thereirr,arid asking the town co,xncil to vacate the
plat of said blocks 8 and 9;
And the council having freed th6:: oth.dav of •Tarjuary A.r.
19o2 as the date for the hearinT- upon the said petition;
and it appearing that C.C. Cornelius, c ! erk of the said tovrn caused
due and proper notice of the hearirig �-rr_ ri the said pet A ion to be
given by posting not ices thereof accordinrr to 1 aw in three of the
most public places in the said town of Kent,and one notice upon
the said property,all uporr, the nth. day of P,ecember 1901;
and it apf)earing that no objections have been filed or made by anv
person or rersons to tf-,e vacat ior, of the said blocks S and 9;
and it appearing that rio person will be injured or aggrieved
in any manner by t;ie vacation of the said blocks as praved for;
T�.erefore: Be it ordained by the council of the Town of Kent:
Section 1. That blocks eight and nine of McMillin' a
Addit ion to the town of Kent,and, the plat be,and the same ,arid
the plat thereof' are hereby vacated: Provided that this ordinance
shall riot be construed to vacate ariy street or alleq of said Ad-
dit ion.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
fromroarid. after its rasFar-e and publication.
