AN ORDINANCE concurring in a Petition filed
August 12, 1959, with Sylvia Pines Sewer
District of King County, Washington, re
annexation to said District of a portion of
Section 21, Township 22 North, Range 4 East,
W.M., in King County, Washington, and within
the city limits of the City of Kent, and con—
senting to the annexation of said land to the
Sylvia Pines Sewer District of King County,
Washington, and providing for the forwa ding
of certified copies of this Ordinance to the
Board of Sewer Commissioners of Sylvia Pines
Sewer District of King County, Washington.
WHEREAS, certain owners, according to the records of the
County Auditor of King County of not less than 60% of the area
of land hereinafter described located in King County, Washington,
and within the city limits of the City of Kent, have filed a
Petition with the Board of Commissioners of Sylvia Pines Sewer
District of King County, Washington, requesting that said
property be annexed to the Sylvia Pines Sewer District, said
property being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the SW corner of the SE 1/4 of the
NW 1/4 of said Section 21;
Thence Northerly along the West boundary of the
SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 21, to the
NW corner of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said
Section 21;
Thence Easterly along the North boundary of the
SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 21 to the
NE corner of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said
Section 21;
Thence Southerly along the East boundary of the
SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 21 to the
SE corner of the SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said
Section 21;
Thence Westerly along the South boundary of the
SE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of said Section 21 to the
SW corner of the SE 1/4 of the NV 1I� -ef said
Section 21, which is the Point af�� 4" ihnitag.
WHEREAS, the Board of Sewer Commissioners of Sylvia Pines
Sewer District has found that said petition for annexation complies
with the requirements of law; and
WHEREAS, the annexation of said property to the Sylvia
Pines Sewer District will be conducive to the public health,
welfare and convenience and will be of special benefit to the
lands included within the area proposed to be annexed to said
District and the lands within the present boundaries of said
District; and
WHEREAS, on August 12, 1959, the Board of Sewer Commissioners
of Sylvia Pines Sewer District duly passed and adopted Resolution
No. 62 which provides in part as follows:
,,BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Sewer
Commissioners of Sylvia Pines Sewer District
of King County, Washington, concurs in said
petition for annexation of the above described
property and by certified copy of this resolu-
tion transmits a certified copy of said petition
for annexation to the City Council of the City
of Kent and request the said City Council of the
City of Kent by City Ordinance to concur in and
consent to the annexation of said real property
above described to the Sylvia Pines Sewer District
of King County, Washington, in the manner provided
by law; and "
WHEREAS, the Board of Sewer Commissioners of Sylvia Pines
Sewer District has caused to be filed with the City Council of
the City of Kent a certified copy of Resolution No. 620 to-
gether with a certified copy of the petition for annexation
above referred to, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Kent
concurs in said petition for annexation of the above described
property to the Sylvia Pines Sewer District of King County,
Washington, in the manner provided by law and does hereby consent
to the annexation of said real property above described to the
Sylvia Pines Sewer District of King County, Washington, and does
hereby direct that two certified copies of this Ordinance be
transmitted to the Board of Sewer Commissioners of Sylvia Pines,

This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
days after its passage, approval and publication as provided
by law.
