An Ordinance of the City of Kent
approving a plat of portions of
land in said City under the name
KENNEDY'S ADDITION TO KENT.
WHEREAS, GLEN P. KENNEDY and ETHEL KENNEDY, his wife, and
RUTH E. WEILAND, a widow, have submitted to the City a proposed
plat of the following described land in said City:
That portion of the NZ of the SWI of the
SWI of the NEI and that portion of the N`
of the SEI of the SEI of the NW! of Section
19, Township 22 North, Range 5, E.W.M. des-
cribed as follows:
Beginning at the NE corner -of said N, of
the SWI of the SW,-� of said NE' thence S. 8'70
53'10" W along the north line of said subdiv-
ision 26'7.97' to the true point of beginning,
Thence continue S. 87053'10" W. along said
north line 390.26' to the nor8hwest corner of
said bubdivision; thence S 88 04'41" W. along
the north line of said N1 of the SEI, of the
SEI of the NWI 135.40' thence S. 0°27'36" W.
parallel to the east line of said subdivision
133.00'; thence S 88004'41" W 80.94' to the
easterly line of Secondary State Highway No.
5A thence S 28018t3O" E. along said easterly
line 66.98' thence N. 88°04'41" E 136.89' thence
S 1075119" E 129.51' thence N 88014'02" E.
436.29' to an existing concrete monument thence
N 0°35}58" W. 325.05' to the true point of
beginning,
and the said matter coming on for hearing on the 20th day of
July, 1959, pursuant to notice thereof, duly posted in the form
and manner and for the time required by law; the City Council
after due consideration thereof finds that said plat conforms
to all legal requirements, that due provision has been made for
all streets and alleys and for other public necessities and
conveniences;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That said plat of KENNEDY'S ADDITION TO KENT,
be and it is hereby approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized and directed to have approval thereof duly inscribed
thereon under their proper official signatures and with the seal
of said City.
Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
five (5) days after its passage, approval and publication, as by
law provided.
