An Ordinance of the City of Kent amending
Ordinance No. 1020, annexing to said City
certain lands contiguous thereto.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1020, passed on the 20th day of
April, 1959, and approved on the 21st day of April, 1959, annexing
certain lands contiguous thereto, contained in Section 1. thereof
a mistake in description, in that on line 25 of said original
ordinance the description was Government Lot 1 when in fact it
should have read Government Lot 3;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Kent do
ordain as follows:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1020, passed
April 20, 1959, approved April 21, 1959, and entitled "An Ordinance
of the City of Kent annexing to said City certain lands contiguous
thereto" be and it is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 1. That there shall be annexed to the City of Kent
the following
described lands situated in the County of King
State of Washington, to -wit:
Gov't. Lot 15 in Sec. 23, Twp. 22 north, Range 4 East, W.M.
ALSO: All that portion of the NW'4 of Sec. 23, Twp. 22 N.R.4 Eas
W.M.lying northwesterly of the existing City Limits of th
City of Kent.
ALSO: Gov't Lot 3 in Sec. 14,Twp. 22 north, R.4 East W.M.;
ALSO: All that portion of Sec. 14,Twp. 22 N., R.4 E.W.M. lying
westerly of the existing City Limits of the City of Kent.
ALSO: All that portion of Sec. 22,Twp. 22 N.,R. 4 E.W.M.lying
easterly of the centerline of Secondary State Highway
No. 5-A and northerly of the existing City Limits of the
City of Kent.
ALSO: Gov't Lots 5, 6 and 9 in the East half of Sec. 15,Twp.
22 N., R. 4 E.W.M.
ALSO: All that portion of Gov't Lot 10 and Enos Cooper Donation
Land Claim No. 38 lying northeasterly of the centerline o
Secondary State Highway No. 5-A in east half of Sec. 15,
Twp. 22 north, R.4 E.W.M.
ALSO: All that portion of the Neely Donation Land Claim in the
East half of Sec. 15,Twp. 22 N.R.4 E.W.M. lying
westerly of the existing City Limits of the City of Kent.
ALSO: All that portion ofthe east half of Sec. 15,Twp. 22 N.
Range 4 east W.M. lying northeasterly of the centerline
of Secondary State Highway No. 5-A.
ALSO: All that portion of the NE of the SW` of Sec. 15, Twp.
22 North, Range 4 E.'4.M. lying Northerly of the centerlir
of Secondary State Highway No. 5-A, and easterly of the
East right-of-way line of Military Road

ALSO: All that portion of the SEu of Sec. 10, Twp. 22 north,
Range 4 E.W.M. lying westerly of the existing City Limits
of the City of Kent.

Tracts 1 through 8 inclusive in Van De Vanter's 10 acre
Tracts, according to the plat thereof, recorded in Vol. 122
of Plats, page, records of King County, Washington.
Any streets included within the body of this annexation but
not specifically described."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days after its passage, approval and publication,
as by law provided.
