An Ordinance of the City of Kent vacating alley

WHEREAS, all of the owners of all of the property abutting

1 the alley soujtht to be vacated as hereinafter desbribed have

2 ,petitioned for vacation thereof, and the City Council of the City
3 of Kent, having on the 2nd day of February, 1959, passed a
4 ;resolution setting the time and place for hearing on said
8ng to the Council that due,

8 ;'timely and legal notice of the pendency of said petition, and the

7 !:time and place for hearing thereon has been given as required by
8 'law, and it appearing that said hearing was opened on the date
9 set therefor, to -wit, the 2nd day of March, 1959, a day more than
10 twenty (20) days and less than sixty (60) days after the adoption
11 of the resolution for hearing, and it further appearing that

the granting of said petition for the vacation of said alley
Twill not be a menace or inconvenience to the travelling public,

'or to any other persons using the streets and alleys in the City of:
Kent,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Kent do

;ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the following described alley is hereby
.vacated:
All that certain alley in Block 17,Washington
Central Improvement Co's Knob Hill Addition to Kent
lying between Lets 1,2,3,4,5 and 6, on the East -and
Lots 21,22,23,24,25 and 26 on the West
Section 2. That said property hereby vacated shall revert to
and become the property of the abutting owners, as by law provided.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force five (5) days after its passage, approval and publication,
as by law prov
