ORDINANCE NO. l0 141
An ordinance of the City of Kent
annexing to said City certain lands
contiguous thereto.

WHEREAS, the owners of not less than 756 in value, accordingi

ito the assessed valuationfbr general taxation, of certain lands
4 1'situated in King County, Washington, and more particularly in this
lordinance hereinafter described, have filed with the City Council

"of the City of Kent their petition in writing to have annexed

to said City said described land, and

WHEREAS, the City on the 2nd day of February, 1959, fixed a

��time and place for public hearing upon said petition, of which
hearing due notice was published and posted in the manner and

!form and for the time required by law, and

WHEREAt, upon said public hearing on the 16th day of February,
12
1959, it appeared to the City Council that the said petition
13
meets the requirements specified by law, and the land sought to
14
be annexed is contiguous to the City of Kent, and has not

heretofore been incorporated in or as a city or town,

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN

AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. That there shall be annexed to the City of Kent

the following described lands situated in the County of King,
20
"State of Washington, to -wit:

W 1/2 of the NW1/4 of Sec. 22, T 22 N.R 4 E.W.M.

Also: That portion of W 1/2 of the SW 1/4 of Sec. 15, T 22 N.,
23 R 4 E.W.M. lying South of the centerline of SSH 5-A
24 Also: Sierra Homes Addition No. 3 as recorded
26 Also: E 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of Sec. 21,T22 N.R 4 E.W.M. except the '
S 1/4 thereof and except Sierra. Homes Addition No. 3 as
28 recorded in Vol. 55 of Plats, page 32, Records of King
County, Washington.

Also: Blocks 4,5, and 6, Federal Highway Addition -as Recorded in
28 vol 30 of Plats, page 1, Records of King County, Washington,
including all of PSH 1, the S 1/2 of SSH 1-K, and SSH 5-A,
29 and the N 1/2 of S 240th St. within or on the boundaries of
said Blocks.

Also: That portion of Interurban Heights, Third Section as recorded
31 in Vol. 17 of Plats, page 87,Records of King County, Wash.
32 including streets, not already in the City of Kent.

Section 2. That upon the ?� day o, 1959, the
annexation of the said property snall be effective a the said

property shall become a part of the City of Kent, subject to
all of the City laws and ordinances then and thereafter in effect
except as otherwise provided by law.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days after its passage, approval and publication as
by law provided.
