An Ordinance of the City of Kent
annexing to said City certain lands
contiguous thereto.
WHEREAS, the ownors of not less than 75 ojo in value, according
to the assessed valuation for genoral taxation, of certain lands situated in

King County, Washington, and more particularly in this ordinance hereinafter,
described, have filed with the City Council of the City of Kent their petition
in writing to have annexed to said City said described land, and
WHEREAS, the City on the 2nd day of February, 1959, fixed a time
and place for public hearing upon said petition, of which hearing due notice
was published and posted in the manner and form and for the time required
by law, and
WHEREAS, upon said public hearing on the 16th day of February, 1959,
it appeared to the City Council that the said petition meets the requirements
specified by law, and the land sought to be annexed is contiguous to the
City of Kent, and has not heretofore been incorporated in or as a city or town;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That there shall be annexed to the City of Kent the
following described lands situated in the County of King, State of Washington,:
to -wit:
South half of the NE quarte r, Se ction 3 6 T. 2 3 N. Rs 4 E. W. MQ; le s s
the North 301 thereof.
Also: SE 1/4 of Section 36 T 23 N R4 E.W.M. lying _West of the West R/W
line of PSH #5.
Also: Gov't Lot 4 Sec. 36, T23 N R4 E. WM. lying East of Northern Pacific
Railroad, less the North 30' thereof.
Also; Gov't Lots five (5) �.: six (6), Sec. 36, T23N R4E. W. M.
Also: Orillia Garden Tracts as recorded in Vol. 26, Page 7, Records of
King County, Washington, lying East of center line of SSH #5-M
Also: ,That portion Henry Adams Donation Claim #43 in Sec. 36, T23 N R4
E. W. M. lying East of center line of SSH # 5-M; less the North 301
thereof.
Also: That portion of SW 1/4 of Sec. 31, T 23 N R5E, W. M. lying West of
West R/W line of PSH #5.
Also: That portion of NW 1/4 of Sec. 31, T 22 N R 5E. W. M. lying Wast of
the West R/W of PSH #5 and South of the South R/W line of South
180th St.

Section 2. That upon the 28th day of February, 1959, the annexation
of the said property shall be effective and the said property shall become a
part of the City of Kent, subject to all of the City laws and ordinances then and,
thereafter in effect except as otherwise provided by law.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall take effect and be in force five (5)
days after its passage, approval and publication as by law provided.
