An Ordinance of the City of Kent
approving a plat of portions of land
in said City under the name of
1 Merrie Hill No. 2 Addition
2 WHEREAS, F. M. DRAKE and SYLVIA DRAKE, his wife, have
3 ;submitted to the City a proposed plat of the following described

i! That portion of the Southwest quarter, S ction 19, Township
22 north, range 5 E.W.M., described as follows:Beginning
at the intersection of the east line of said southwest j
quarter with the center line of Chicago St. as established
in Miller's Northern View 2nd Addition to Kent as recorded i
in Volume 44 of Piats, page 7, Records of King County, Wash.,
thence north 88029'51" West along the center line of said
Chicago St. 264.04 feet; thence South 2028'48" west parallel
to the east line of said southwest quarter 165 feet to the
True Point of Beginning: Thence continue south 2028148" west`
481.05 feet to the south line of the north half of the
southeast quarter of said southwest quarter; thence north
88007'38" west along said south line 749.82 feet to the
southeast corner of Merrie Hill Addition to the City of
Kent as recorded in Volume 57 of Plats, page 16, Records of j
King County, Washington; thence north 1°52'22" east
along the east line of said Merrie Hill Addition 441.14 ft ;
thence south 88029'51" east 47,01; thence north 2°09'57 "east;
parallel to the west line of the southeast quarter of said
southwest quarter 35.01 feet; thence south 88029'51" east

and the said matter coming on for hearing pursuant to notice of

said hearing, duly posted in the form and manner and for the time

required by law; the City Council after due consideration thereof

finds that said plat conforms to all legal requirements, that due

provision has been made for all streets and alleys and for other

public necessities and conveniences;

NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. That said plat of Merrie Hill No. 2 Addition be,

25 and it is hereby, approved, and the Mayor and City Clerk are
26 authorized and directed to have approval thereof duly inscribed
thereon under their proper official signatures and with the seal
27
of said City

Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force
29
30 five (!)) days after its passage, approval and publication, as by
