ORDINANCE NO. ILC4�
AN ORDINANCE relating to planning and
rezoning for land use and development in the
City of Kent, Washington, and ezoning a
portion of certain property originally zoned
by the City of Kent by"Ordinance No. 1071,
as R-1 (Single Family Residential Zoning
District) to R-3 (Multiple Dwelling Zoning
District) zone.
WHEREAS, certain land was originally zoned by the City
8 of Kent by Ordinance No. 1071, as amended, entitled "Zoning
ty of Kent, Washington", passed by the City
9 Ordinance for the Ci
10 Council on the 15th day of September, 1960; and
WHEREAS, the effective date of thezoning of said
11 certain land by said Ordinance No. 1071 and the effective date of
12 said Ordinance No. 1071, itself, was the 3rd day of October, 1960;
13 and
WHEREAS, as required by Ordinance No. 1071, as amended,
14 the City Council, after referral, study by and a public hearing
15 before the planning Commission of the City of Kent, wherein it
16 was recommended that said land be rezoned from R-1 (Single Family
Residential Zoning District) zone to R-3 (Multiple Dwelling Zoning
17 District) zone; and
18 WHEREAS, it is found that the said rezone is in the best
interests of the health, welfare and morals of the Citizens of
19
the City of Kent and is consistent with the comprehensive plan
20 of the City of Kent and consistent with good planning; and
21WHEREAS:, thereafter the City Council of the City of Kent
did, upon the 12th day of November, 1969, hold a public hearing
22
on said recommendation insofar as it related to said certain
23 lands, said public hearing being held after proper notice thereof;
24 NOW, THEREFORE,'
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
26 Section 1. The following described land, situated in
27 the City of Kent, County of King, State of Washington, and
presently zoned as R-1 (Single Family Residential Zoning Dist Ct)

zone and more particularly described as follows:
29 That portion of the E 1/2 of the NE 1/4 of
Sec. 29, Twp. 22 N, Range 5 E., W.M., described
30 as follows: 134nning at a point 570.50 ft 5
and 673.17 ft W of the NE corner of said sub -
