AN ORDINANC E of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, amending Kent City Ordinance 0.510
1922 (codified 1.4.04) to change the regular
meeting time of the Kent City Council from
8:00 O'clock P.M. to 3:00 O'clock P.M.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Kent City Ordinance 0.510 -- 1922 (1.4.04 )
which reads as follows:
"Council Meetings. The regular and other meet-
ings of the City Council of the City of Kent shall be
held in the Council Chambers of the City of Kent at
the City Hall, said regular meetings to be held on
the first and third Monday eve nin s_ of each month
and the special meetings as provided by law at such
times as they may be designated, said meetings to
convene at 8:00 O'clock P.M.; provided if any set
day for a regu ar meeting be a legal holiday, the
said meeting shall be held on the following day at
the same hour."
is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Council Meetings. The regular and other meet-
ings of the City Council of the City of Kent shall be
held in the Council Chamber of the City of Kent at
the City Hall, said regular meetings to be held on
the first and third Monday in the afternoons of each
month and the spec ial meetings as provided by law at
such times as may be designated, said meetings to con-
vene at 3:00 0' Clock P.M. ; provided, if any such day
for a regular meeting be a legal holiday, the said
meeting shall be held on the following day at the
same hour."
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five (5) days from and after its passage, approval and pub-
lication as provided by law. l
