2 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Ke t, Wash-
ington, creating and establishing in the City
3 Treasury of the City of Kent a fund to be
known as the "Cash Bond Fund" and establishing
4 procedures for the deposit and withdrawal of
monies from said fund.

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON$ DO

ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1. There is hereby created and established in
8
the City Treasury of the City of Kent a fund designated as "Cash
9
Bond Fund".

Section 2. Except as otherwise provided by law, in all
11
cases where monies are deposited with the City of Kent for such
12
purposes as guaranteeing performance or compliance with City
13
Ordinances, or as surety to insure compliance with City Ordinance ,

said funds shall be deposited by the City Treasurer in the Cash
15
Bond Fund and shall thereafter be held in said fund until their
16
release is authorized pursuant to action of the Kent City Council
17
at a regular meeting of the City Council.

Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
i9 and20force five(5) days from and after its passage,
if publication, as provided by law.21
