2 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Washington

deleting Section 2 of Kent Ordinance No. 1
3 pertaining to easement rights.
WIiEREAS, in Section 2 of Kent City Ordinance No. 1402
5 passed the 17th day of October, 1966 certain easement rights were
6 reserved by the City of Kent, and
7 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent has been
8 advised by the Kent City Engineer's office that these easement
9 rights need no longer be reserved,
10 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO
11 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
12 Section 1. Section 2 of Kent City Ordinance No. 1402
13 -passed the 17th day of October, 1966 which reads as follows:
14 "Section 2. The City does hereby reserve unto
itself, its successors and assigns, the right to
15 exercise and grant easements in respect to the
vacated land described in Section 1 hereof, for
16 the construction, repair, and maintenance of
public utilities and services"

Section 2. The City Clerk upon the passage, approval and
19
20 publication of this ordinance shall cause a certified copy thereof
21 to be recorded in the King County Auditor's office and topay the
22 filing fee therefor.

Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five days from and after ; rq nassaq
