AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Washington
deleting Section 2 of Kent Ordinance No. 1+01
pertaining to easement rights.

WHEREAS, in
Section 2
of Kent City
Ordinance
No. 1401

passed the 17th day of
October,
1966 certain
easement
rights were
6 reserved by the City of Kent, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of theCity of Kent has been
8 ',advised by the Kent City Engineer's office that these easement
9 ;rights need no ]anger be reserved,
10 NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO
11 ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
12 Section 1. Section 2 of Kent .City Ordinance No. 1401
13 passed the 17th day of October, 1966 which reads as follows:

"Section 2. That the City does hereby reserve unto
itse lf, is successors and assigns, the right to
exercise and grant easements in respect to the
vacated land described in Section 1 hereof, for
the construction, repair, and maintenance of public
utilities and services"
is hereby deleted.
Section '2. The City Clerk upon the passage, approval and
publication of this ordinance shall cause a certified copy thereof,
to be recorded in the King County Auditor's office and to pay the
filing fee therefor.
Section '3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five days from and after its pass
tion as provided by law.
