tions of said easement reservations are in order so as to not
impose an undue burden upon the nronerty owners adjoining the
vacated street area,
MO[d, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 2 of ]Cent Citv Ordinance \?o. 1409
passed the 21st day of i?ovember, 1966 whic:n reads as follows:

vacated land described in Section. 1 hereof for the construction,
reoai.r and maintenance of public utilities and services." is
hereby amended to read as folloWs :

"Section 2. Referring to the real property described
in Section 1. hereof the City does hereby reserve unto itself, its
successors or assigns the right to exercise and grant easements
for ingress and egress thereto and for the construction, repair
and maintenance of public utilities and services as pertains to
the following described -portion thereof, to -wit:
The South 125 ft. of Lincoln Avenue lying, between
Block 29 and Flock 30 reserving, however, an
easement for ingress and egress and utilities to
the City of Kent, its successors or assigns,
along with the right to grant said easements
over the following described lands; a strip

of land 10 feet in width the center line being
the center line of the above described vacated
portion of said street as set forth in Section 1
of this Ordinance.

Section 2. The City Clerk upon the passage, approval

and publication of this Ordinance shall. cause a certified copy
Ijthereof to be recorded in the Kind; County Auditor's office and to
pay the filing .fee therefor.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five days from and after its passage, approval and publica-
tion as provided by lain.
