at Page 27, in the King County, Washington
24 Auditor's Office.
25 is hereby zoned as R-3 (Multiple Dwelling Zoning District) zone.
26 Section 2. The City Engineer of the City of Kent be
27 and he is hereby authorized and directed to indicate upon the
28 Comprehensive Planning Map of the City of Kent, or upon an adden-
29 dum thereto, the zoning of said property as provided for in
30 Section 1 of this Ordinance.

AN ORDINANCE relating to planning and zoning

for land use and development in the City of

Kent and zoning pursuant to Kent City Ordinance
No. 1071, as amended, certain land annexed to
4
the City of Kent as unzoned as R-3 (Multiple
"a
Dwelling Zoning District) zone.

WHEREAS, certain land hereinafter described was annexed
6

to the City of Kent unzoned, and
7
WHEREAS, as required by Kent City Ordinance No. 1071,
8
as amended, the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington,
9
after referral to and study by the Planning Commission of the
10
City of Kent, recommended that said land be zoned as hereinafter
11
set forth, and
12
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent did upon
13
the 21st day of August, 1967, hold a public hearing on said
14
recommendation insofar as they related to said certain land,
15
said public hearing being held after proper notice thereof,
16
NOW, THEREFORE,

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO
18
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

Section 1: The following described land situated in
20
the City of Kent, County of King, State of Washington, and
21
presently unzoned, more particularly described as follows:
22
Tracts 34 and 35, R. 0. Smith's Orchard
23 Tracts, as recorded in Volume 12 of Plats,
at Page 27, in the King County, Washington
24 Auditor's Office.

Section 3. The upon said amendment being shown upon the

Comprehensive Planning Map of the
City of Kent, or upon an adden-

dum thereto, the copy of said map
or addendum shall be filed with

the County Auditor of King County,
Washington, and the City Clerk

of the City of Kent be and she is
hereby authorized and directed
6
to record this Ordinance with the
County Auditor of King County
7
and pay the filing fee therefor.

Section 4. This Ordinance
shall take effect and be in
9
force five (5) days from and after
its passage, approval and
10
