AN ORDINANCE relating to planning and zoning for land use and development in the City of Kent and zoning pursuant to Kent City Ordinance No. 1071, as amended, certain land annexed to the City of Kent as unzoned as R-4 (Multiple Dwelling Zoning District) zone. WHEREAS, certain land hereinafter described was annexed) to the City of Kent unzoned, and WHEREAS, as required by Kent City Ordinance No. 1071, as amended, the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington, after referral to and study by the Planning Commission of the City of Kent, recommended that said land be zoned as hereinafter set forth, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent did upon the 1st day of May, 19.67, hold a public hearing on said recommen- dation insofar as they related to said certain land, said public hearing being held after proper notice thereof, NOW, THEREFORE, FOLLOWS: THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN AS Section 1. The following described land situated in the City of Kent, County of King, State of Washington, and presently unzoned, more particularly described as follows: That portion of the SE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 in Sec. 20, Twp. 22 N., R 5 E., W.M. described as follows: Beginning at the SW corner of said sub- division of Sec. 20; thence N 2014147" E 30 ft to the Id line of SE 256th St.; thence S 88038' 00" E along said N line 500.33 ft. to the true point of beginning of property herein described; thence N 2014147" E 1274.60 ft. to the N line of said subdivision of Sec. 20; thence S 88017135" E along said subdivision line of Sec. 20, 7501; thence S 2038157" W 770.32 ft; thence N 88038100" W 296.251; thence S 2038157" W 5001to the N line of SE 256th St; thence N 88038100" W 444.93' to the true point of beginning. EXCEPT that portion described as follows: Beg, at the true point of beginning of the above described parcel; thence continue N 2014'47" E to a point which lies 503.60' S of the N line of said subdivision; thence S 88038100" E 2001; thence S 2014147" W 771' to the N line of SE 256th St; thence S 88038100" E.2001 to the true point of beginning, -1- 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 is hereby zoned as R-4 (Multiple Dwelling Zoning District) zone. Section 2. The City Engineer of the City of Kent be ind he is hereby authorized and d irecte:d to indicateupon the :omprehensive planning map of the City of Kent or upon an addendum thereto, the zoning of said property as provided for in Section 1 Df this Ordinance. Section 3, That upon said amendment being shown upon t comprehensive planning map of the City of Kent or upon an addendum ther.eto., the copy of said map or addendum shall be filed with the County Auditor of King County, Washington, and the City Clerk of the City.of Kent be and she is -hereby authorized and directed to record this Ordinance with the County Auditor of King .County and pay the filing fee therefor.
