AN ORDINANCE relating to planning and zoning
2 for land use and development in the City of
3 Kent and zoning pursuant to Kent City Ordinance
No. 1071, as amended, certain land annexed to
4 the City of Kent as unzoned as R-3 (multiple
Dwelling Zoning District) zone.

6 WHEREAS, certain land hereinafter described was annexed
7 to the City of Kent unzoned, and
8 WHEREAS, as required by Kent City Ordinance No. 10711,
9 as amended, the City Council of the City of Kent, Washington,
10 after referral to and study by the Planning Commission of the
11 City of Kent, recommended that said land be zoned as hereinafter
12 set forth, and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent did upon
14 the 16th day of January, 1967, hold a public hearing on said
15 recommendation insofar as they related to said certain land,
16 said public hearing being held after proper notice thereof,
17 NOW, THEREFORE,
18 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN AS
19 FOLLOWS:
20 Section 1. The following described land situated in
21 the City of Kent, County of King, State of Washington, and
22 presently unzoned, more particularly described as follows:
23 That portion of the SW 1/4 of the SW 1/4 in
Section 10, Twp. 22 N., Range 4 E., W.M.
24 Described as follows:
Beginning at the 1/16 corner on the S
25 '' Line of said'Section; being the true point of
beginning of property herein described; thence
26 N 0003134" W along said subdivision line
1017.40 ft; thence S 88052105" W 527 ft; thence
27 S 004713011 W 175.32 ft; thence S 26°10110" E
220.44 ft; thence S 0047130" W 200 ft; thence
28 S HOW 3011 W 430 ft. to the E line of military
Road; thence S 0047130" W along said E line
29 445.60 ft, to the S line of said section; thence
N 88038120" E along said S line 872.30 ft. to
30 the true point of beginning.

Section 2. The City Engineer of theCity of Kent be f

nand he is hereby authorized and directed to indicate upon the
5 comprehensive planning map of the City of Kent or upon an addendum

thereto, the zoning of said property as provided for in Section 1
7
of this Ox'dinance.

Section 3. That upon said amendment being shown upon thel
comprehensive planning map of y q:Dc:L" of Kent or upon an addendum'I
thereto, the copy of said map or addendum shall be filed with the
County Auditor of King,Countyj,Wash4ngton, and the City Clerk of
the City of Kent be and 11 she is hereby authorized and directed to
record this Ordinance with the County Auditor of King County and
pay the filing fee therefor.
Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in
force five days from and after its passage, approval and publica-
tion as provided by law. /r
