ORDINANCE N0.
1 AN ORDINANCE relating to planning and
rezoning for land use and development in
2 the City of Kent and rezoning a portion of
certain property originally zoned by the
3 '; City of Kent by Ordinance No. 1071, as
amended, as M -A (Industrial -Agricultural
4 District) zone to M-1 (Light Industrial

s Zoning District) zone. k
6 ' WHEREAS, certain land was originally zoned by the City
7 '1Of Kent by Ordinance No.1071, as amended, entitled "Zoning
8 hOrdinance for theCity of Kent, Washington", passed by the City
9 Council on the 15th day of September, 1960, and

10 WHEREAS, the effective date of the zoning of said cer-
11 ain land b said Ordinance No. 1071, as amended, and the effective

12 Ifdate of said Ordinance No. 1071, itself, was the 3rd day of
i
13 jOctober, 1960, and
14 ; WHEREAS, as required by Ordinance No. 10719 as amended,
15
�the City Council, after referral, study by and a public hearing Y'
16 �efore the Planning Commission of the City of Kent, wherein it
r
17 as recommended that said land be rezoned from M -A (Industrial -
18 6ricultural District) zone to M-1 (Light Industrial Zoning
�i
19 Iistrict) zone, and
20 I Whereas, thereafter the City Council of the City of Kent
21 lid, upon the 16th day of January, 19679 hold a public hearing on
i
22 aid recommendation insofar as it related to said certain lands,
23 Said public hearing being held after proper notice thereof, NOW,

24 HEREFORE,
25 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO

26 RDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

15Clerk of the City of Kent be and she is hereby authorized and
