WHEREAS, certain land was originally zoned by -theCity of Kent by Ordinance No. 10715 as amended, entitled "Zoning Ordinance for the City of Kent, Washington," passed by the City Council on the 15th day of September, 19602 and WHEREAS, the effective date of the zoning.of said certain land by said Ordinance No. 1071 and the effective date of said Ordinance No. 1071, itself, was the 3rd day of October, 1960, and WHEREAS, as required by Ordinance No. 1071, as amended, theCity Council, after referral, study by and a public hearing before the Planning Commission of the City of Kent, wherein it was recommended that said land be rezoned from C-3 (General 'Commercial Zoning District) zone to MHR (Mobile Home Residential ',Zoning District) zone, and WHEREAS, thereafter the City Council of the City of Kent' did, upon the 19th day of December, 1966, hold a public hearing on said recommendation insofar as it related to said certain lands said public hearing being held after proper notice thereof, NOW, (THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL of THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The following described land situated in the City of Kent, County of King, State of Washington, and pre- sently zoned as C-3 (General Commercial Zoning District) zone and more particularly described as follows: Be E 6 I 7 it A 8� 9 ii 10j 11 s� 12 l 13 14 15 i 16 17 18 i 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 C a: 32 Lots 23 and 24 in Block 5 of Federal Highway Addition, per plat recorded in Volume 30 of Plats, page 1, records of King County, EXCEPT that portion thereof described as follows: Beginning at the NW corner of said Lot 23; thence S 8058114" W along the Wly line of said Lot 23, 91.50 feet to the true point of beginning; thence continuing S 8058114" W along the Wly line of said Lots 23 and 241 110.48 feet to the SW corner of said Lot 24; 81.37 feet; thence north 5051141" E 97.33 ft; thence N 81001146" W 75.00 feet to the true point of beginning, is hereby rezoned to MHR (Mobile Home Residential Zoning District) zone.
