ORDINANCE NO.
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Washington,
increasing the motor vehicle speed limit from
25 miles per hour to 35 miles per hour on James
Street from First Avenue North to Washington
Avenue (West Valley Highway - SSH 5M) and
authorizing the City Engineer to post said speed
limit change.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT, WASHINGTON, DO OR-
DAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Upon the effective date of this Ordinance
the speed limit on James Street from First Avenue North to
Washington Avenue (West Valley Highway - SSH 5M) shall be increases
from 25 miles per hour to 35 miles per hour.
Section 2. The City Engineer is hereby authorized and
instructed to post the change in the speed limit on James Street
as provided in Section 1 of this Ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its
passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
