AN ORDINANCE relating to planning and zoning
for land use and development :in the City of Kent
and zoning pursuant to:Kent City Ordinance No.
1071, as'amended, :certain land annexed.to the
City. of Kent :as unzo.ned as R-1 (Single Family
Residential) zone
WHEREAS, certain land hereinafter described was
exed to the City of Kent,.unzoned, and

WHEREAS, as required by the Kent City. Ordinance. No. 1071,

as amended, ,the City. Council of he City of Kent,. Washington,

after referral to and study by the Planning Commission of the
11
City: of Kent, recommended thatsaid land be zoned as hereinafter.

set forth.,. .and

WHEREAS,. the Kent .City. Council did upon the 15th day of
14
August :, ,196.6 hold a public hearing on said recommendation
18
insofar as it related to: said certain land, said public hearing
16
being held afterproper notice .thereof, .NOW,. THEREFORE,
17 THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN AS
18 FOLLOWS:
19 Section 1. The, following described parcel of land
20
situated in he City of Kent, County of King, State. of Washington,
21
and presently unzoned and more particularly described hereafter,
22
is hereby.zoned as follows:
23 The southwest quarter of the southwest
24 quarter of Section -22, Township:22 North,
Range 4 East of. the Willamette Meridian
25 EXCEPT that :portion thereof conveyed to the
State.of Wa:shingtonby deedrecorded. under
26 Auditor's File No. 504-1196; AND EXCEPT .the
east 30 feet.th:ereof conveyed to: King County.
27 for road bydeed recorded under Auditor's
file No. 2713703; situated in the County.
28 of King, State of Washington,
29 is hereby zoned to -R-1 '(Single Family Residential) zone..
30 Section: 2. The City Engineer of the City of Kent be
31 and he is hereby authorized and directed to indicate upon the

ided for in Section l of this Ordinance..
Section 3. That upon said amendment being shown upon
he .comprehensive planning map of the City of Kent'or upon an
ddendum thereto, the copy of said map or addendum shall be
iled with the County Auditor of King County, Washington, and
he City Clerk of the City of Kent .be and she .is hereby authorized
land directed to record this Ordinance with the County -Auditor of
King County and pay the filing fee: therefor.

provided by law.
