ORDINANCE NO. 8'
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, approving a plat of a portion of land
in said City, under the name of "Wynwood
Park."
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That William A. Stewart and Shirley A. Stewart,
Douglas Gwinett and Mattie Gwinett, Willis M. Calhoun and Carolyn
M. Calhoun, Marvin Wells and Helen E. Wells have submitted to
the City of Kent a proposed plat of the following described land
in said City, and located in the County of State of Wash-
ington, and more fully described as follows:
This plat of "Wynwood Park" Addition to the City
of Kent, King County, Washington, comprises those
vacated portions of Washington Central Improvement
Co's Knob Hill Addition to Kent as recorded in
Volume 5 of Plats, page 97 Records of King County,
Washington and of the Samuel W. Russell Donation
Claim No. 41 in southwest quarter of Section 19,
Township 22 north:, range 5, W.M., described as
follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the northerly
projection of the center line of the vacated alley
in Block 22 of said Addition with. the center line
of the vacated Chicago Street; thence South 2006'
12" west along the center line of said vacated
alley 511.54' to the north line of Clark's Valley
View Addition to Kent as recorded in Volume 54 of
Plats, page 11, Records of King County, Washington;
thence north 87046146" west 60 feet, thence south
16112152" east 47.43 feet; thence south 2113114"
west 80 feet to the westerly projection of the
north line of Marion Street in said Clark's Valley
View Addition; thence north 87046146" west along
said line 290.77 feet to the west line of said
Section 19; thence north 2006112" east along said
line 187.35 feet to the south -line of vacated Carter
Street; thence north 87053148" west along said line
115.61 feet to the southerly projection of the west
line of vacated lot 14, Block 24 of said Knob Hill
Addition; thence north 1058112" east along said line
148.28 feet to the northwest corner of vacated Lot
12 of said Block 24; thence south 87153148" east
along the north line of said Lot 12 and said line
projected easterly, 115.96 feet to the west line of
said Section 19; thence north 2106112" east along
said line 120 feet to the westerly projection of the
north line of vacated Lot 21, Block 23, of said Knob
Hill Addition; thence south 87153148" east along said
line and said line projected easterly, 148 feet to the
center line of the vacated alley in said Block 23,

said vacated alley 240. feet to the center line of
vacated Chicago Street, thence cath 87053148x1 east
along said center line 296 feet to the point of
beginning.
and said matter having come on for hearing pursuant to notice
of said hearing duly posted in the form and manner and for the time
required by law, the City Council, after due consideration there-
of, and after said hearing, held an open Council Meeting on the
6th. day of June, 1966, finds that said plat conforms to all the
legal requirements and that due provision has been made for all
streets and alleys and for other public necessities and
jconveniences.
Section 2. That said plat of "Wynwood Park" be, and it
is hereby approved and the Mayor and the City Clerk are authorized
and directed to have approval thereof fully inscribed thereon
under their proper, official signatures with the seal of the City
of Kent.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in
force from and after its passage, approval and publication, as
provided by law.'
