HomeMy WebLinkAbout1348,r\ 1 c7 LA J 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 PPS 3 1 7 ORDINANCE NO. �10. 1r � �CTOEt JIRDINANCE relating to planning and zoning for land ' EWEt�� and development in the City of Kent and zoning pur- Cf�L #+ suant to Kent City Ordinance No. 1071 as amended, certain land annexed to the City as unzoned as R-4 (Multiple Dwelling) zone, and M-2 (Heavey Industrial' zone. ` WHEREAS, certain land hereinafter described was annexed to the `City of Kent unzoned, and WHEREAS, as required by Kent City Ordinance No. 1071, as amended, I The City Council of the City of Kent, Washington, after referral to and study by the Planning Commission of the City of Kent, recommended that said land be zoned as hereinafter set forth, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent did upon the 16th day of May, 1966, hold a public hearing on said recommendation insofar as it re- lated to said certain lands, said public hearing being held after proper notice thereof, now, therefore, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF KENT DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS; Section 1. The following described two parcels of land situated in the II City of Kent, County of King, State of Washington, and presently unzoned and more particularly described hereafter, are hereby zoned as follows; Parcel 1. R-4 (Multiple Dwelling) zone; That portion of the West half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 22 North, Range 4 East, W. M. ; EXCEPT the North 318.19 feet as measured along the West line of said West half of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter described as follows; That portion of the above described property lying North of a line drawn from a point on the East line of said property lying 520 feet North of the Southeast corner thereof to a point on the West line of said property lying 385 feet North of the Southwest corner thereof. Parcel 2. M-2 (Heavy Industrial) zone; That portion of the West half of the Southeast Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section 15, Township 22 North, Range 4 East, W. M. ; EXCEPT the North 318. 19 feet as measured along the West line of said West half of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter described as follows; That portion of the above described property lying South of a line drawn from a point on the East line of said property lying 520 feet North of the Southeast corner thereof to a point on the West line of said property lying 385 feet North of the Southwest corner thereof. Section 2. Section 2. The City Engineer of the City of Kent be and he is hereby authorized and directed to indicate upon the comprehensive planning map of the City of Kent or upon an addendum thereto, the zoning of said two parcels of property as provided for in Section 1 of this Ordinance. 1 Section 3. That upon said amendment being shown upon the com- 2 prehensive planning map of the City of Kent or upon an addendum thereto,, the 3 copy of said map or addendum shall be filed with the County Auditor of King 4 County, Washington, and the City Clerk of the City of Kent be and he is hereby 5 authorized and directed to record this Ordinance with the County Auditor of 6 King County and pay the filing fee therefor. 7 Section 4.
