ORDINANCE NO. ��k
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Kent, Washington,
annexing into the City of Kent certain real
property owned in fee and utilized for muni-
cipal purposes by said City.
WHEREAS, certain real property (more fully described
hereinafter) is owned in fee by the City of Kent, Washington, and
WHEREAS, the City of Kent, Washington, is utilizing and
will continue to utilize said real property for the municipal
purpose of being the site of a municipal water tank site, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Kent, pursuant
to R.C.W. 35.13.180 of the Laws of the State of Washington' after
study and discussion, has, by majority vote, found that it is in
the best interests of the health and welfare of the citizens of
the City of Kent, in order to give the City of Kent full dominion
and control over said municipally owned and operated water tank
site on said municipally owned real property,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Kent do
ordain as follows:
Section 1. That the following described real property

located in the unincorporated area of the County of King, State of
Washington, and which is owned in fee by the City of Kent, Wash-
ington, is, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.180 of the Laws of the State
of Washington, hereby, upon the effective date of this Ordinance,
annexed into the City of Kent, to -wit:
The East 264 feet of the North one-half of the
Northwest one-quarter of the Southeast one-quarter
of the Southeast one-quarter of Section 17, Town-
ship 22 North, Range 5 East W.M., in King County,
Washington.
Section 2. The purpose of this annexation is to give
the City of Kent full dominion and control over the municipally
owned and operated water tank site located on said municipally
owned real property.

Section 3. That upon the passage, approval and
publication in due and regular form of this Ordinance, the City
Clerk of the City of Kent is hereby directed to cause this Ordi-
nance to be recorded in the Office of the King County Auditor and
pay the recording fee therefor.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
